The Client
My client is a leading FinTech business delivering technology and investment management infrastructure services to some of the world's leading hedge funds and asset managers.
The business is looking for a Fixed Term Contractor to join the Finance team for 6 months, working very closely with the Market Data group and key stakeholders across the business in order to provide a review of Market Data costs and find significant savings.
****Please note that this role will be salaried, and is not day rate****

What You'll Do
- Perform a strategic review of all costs related to market data, research, and indices used to support the business.
- Analyse accounting spend from NetSuite and compare to the existing Technology Operating Model.
- Work with the Market Data team to obtain usage data and detailed contract information and clarify if the vendor data is still required or whether it can be curtailed.
- Target cost savings across a significant budget spend in the business.
- Provide Finance Business Partnership on technology matters across the organisation.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience in the Financial Markets or FinTech industry.
- Experience with financial Market Data procurement and vendor management, including experience with contracts/agreements relating to the provision of Market Data services.
- Experience of leading a strategic cost review.
- Business Partnering skills with a focus on strategic review of operating models.
- Advanced Oracle NetSuite and Excel skills.
