Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £26K - £28K (Depending on experience)

About you


  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in a student recruitment or marketing role.
  • Both enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening and customer care, with the ability to make multiple phone calls each day.



Experience


  • Proven experience in student recruitment, preferably within further and/or higher education.
  • Be confident on the phone speaking to students daily answering queries and offering support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for communications.



Marketing Officer Responsibilities:


  • Recruiting students, helping them through the executing marketing campaigns, developing communication strategies, managing social media marketing, and driving sales.
  • Managing a pipeline of opportunities to meet our monthly and annual targets whilst generating regular reports on key marketing metrics and performance indicators.
  • Responsible for checking and verifying applications from prospective students interested in attending our university. You will be required to evaluate student transcripts and records, verify the accuracy of the information, and confirm that applications are complete and contain all required elements.
  • In addition, you should have skills in the use of computerised systems and databases, be familiar with university admissions policies, standards, and procedures, and be able to ensure adherence to all regulations and department policies.
  • You will focus on building a relationship with a prospective student.
  • Brand management: help maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Email Marketing; create and manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Event Coordination; plan and coordinate events, open days, and other marketing activities, to support conversion across all our programmes.



Skills


  • Results orientated and can maintain a high level of self-motivation.
  • Relishes the prospect of working in a fast moving, start-up environment.
  • Good numerical skills and excellent written English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel.
  • Possess an eye for detail.
  • Strong data management, reporting & presentation skills.



Requirements and Skills:


  • Fluent in English and additional EU languages preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any business management related field.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., GoogleAds, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn.)
  • Familiarity with Social Media Strategy/Content Creation and planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
