Job Description

The Talent Set are working with a fantastic Higher Education Client supporting them in their search for a Marketing and Campaigns Officer for a 5 month contract role

The pot holder will Support the planning, development and implementation of digital campaigns and ensure they fit within their integrated marketing activities to raise stakeholder awareness. You will create content for all mediums and channels (e.g. digital, video, imaging, print media) and have a robust working knowledge of how to reach and engage audiences and how to use insight to drive performance improvements.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Bring together all the relevant marketing elements in their digital campaigns (correct messaging, customer insights, potential designs from the Content Team and audiences)
  • Raise brand awareness, direct response, lead generation and customer engagement with a focus on the UK undergraduate or postgraduate market
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop campaign content to persuade and influence audiences to change decision behaviour.
  • Support day-to-day agency relationships by scheduling meetings, liaising with colleagues via email or trello.
  • Report on campaign performance as required by the Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing and Brand and other senior stakeholders.
  • Update third party sites with the right information (new courses, changes in tone of voice, open day dates etc)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to write creative and accurate copy that engages the end-user
  • Producing reports on campaign stats for colleagues in the team and department.

Person specification:


  • Must possess a good understanding as to how effective marketing works across different channels and audiences
  • Must have an understanding of our youth audience and of current trends.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to write creative and accurate copy that engages the end-user
  • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders
  • Experience of creating assets for campaigns across search, display and social.
  • Basic video editing skills and experience of creating video content for social media platforms
  • Must understand the various disciplines which make up the Marketing Communications team (content; campaigns; brand)
  • Experience of creating assets for digital campaigns
  • Experience of writing reports on activity and making suggestions for improvement
  • Experience of writing marketing copy within specific brand guidelines and tone of voice

What's on offer:
This 5 month contract role with potential to go permanent, with a salary of£28,000- £34,000 pro rata
This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in their South London office
