Marketing and Communications Consultant
Salary: From £31,000
As a Marketing Consultant in our Member Marketing Communications team, you will play a key role in the end-to-end creation and delivery of our member communications. This includes understanding our target audience, channel mix, working with our creative agencies and developing and managing the creative execution and member journeys. You’ll work alongside our fantastic Planning team, Analytics, Database Marketing, Creative agencies and Content Editors to make this happen. If you are experienced in direct marketing, passionate and creative with strong commercial acumen, then we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working in a team that has accountability for the end-to-end delivery of member marketing communications that deliver against our Society KPIs.
You will need to interpret and respond to briefs, understanding which channel mix is right and develop compelling and strong creative communications. You will need to be able to manage the creative briefing process with our agencies as well as working with internal stakeholders such as our Planning team, Financial Promotions team, Product teams and our Brand team to deliver communications that engage our members, meet the brief, and deliver against our Financial Promotions framework.
You will need to be able to understand customer insight, helping to deliver against our personalisation strategy, making our communications relevant and timely for our customers. We
actively encourage a test & learn culture, looking at ways to continually improve our communications, be that email subject line testing, A/B creative tests, targeting tests or propositional testing.
As part of this, you will have access to channels like; direct mail, email, digital prompts in our internet bank and mobile app, home & exit pages as well as the ability to deliver targeted insight to our front-line colleagues.
You will be part of our Marketing community, but you’ll work with other teams too, including those who run our website, design our products and services, analyse our data, manage our suppliers and look after our members.
