We're on the lookout for a
vibrant and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant with a creative spark to join us on our mission. This a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience , a chance to unleash your creativity, refine your skills, and contribute to something meaningful.
Y ou will be responsible for : - Marketing Support - Manag ing team helpdesk, assigning tickets, handling smaller requests and supporting press enquiries and media events.
- Digital Support - Maintain ing the accuracy of Edinburgh Leisure activities information across digital platforms and collaborating with the Digital team on website, app, and Google business page updates.
- Design & Content - Assist ing content creation, collaborating on projects like launching the TikTok channel, supporting signage and smaller design tasks, and ensuring compliance with GDPR retention policies.
- Research - Coordinat ing data requests, managing ongoing research and surveys, and generating reports for market sectors.
- Administration - Provid ing general administrative support, coordinating with external suppliers, managing site visits and invoicing, and maintaining Marketing Team intranet pages.
Our ideal candidate will have: - A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or 2 years working experience in a marketing-based role.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, and experience of writing either for study or work purposes .
- Strong organisational skill s with the ability to problem-solve and prioritise to strategically develop creative solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proactive, tenacious, and adaptable personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to a varied customer base.

This is a hybrid role with time spent between our head office at Meadowbank and home working .
