You will be responsible for:  

  • Marketing Support - Managing team helpdesk, assigning tickets, handling smaller requests and supporting press enquiries and media events. 
  • Digital Support - Maintaining the accuracy of Edinburgh Leisure activities information across digital platforms and collaborating with the Digital team on website, app, and Google business page updates. 
  • Design & Content Assisting content creation, collaborating on projects like launching the TikTok channel, supporting signage and smaller design tasks, and ensuring compliance with GDPR retention policies. 
  • Research - Coordinating data requests, managing ongoing research and surveys, and generating reports for market sectors. 
  • Administration - Providing general administrative support, coordinating with external suppliers, managing site visits and invoicing, and maintaining Marketing Team intranet pages. 

  

Our ideal candidate will have:   

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or 2 years working experience in a marketing-based role. 
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, and experience of writing either for study or work purposes. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to problem-solve and prioritise to strategically develop creative solutions. 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.  
  • Proactive, tenacious, and adaptable personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to a varied customer base.

This is a hybrid role with time spent between our head office at Meadowbank and home working
