Working for a reputable distributor of household brands, our client is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant, with a strong focus on content and social media, to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of high-quality, global brands through the development and distribution of engaging content. This diverse and exciting role involves active participation in social media management, content creation, event coordination, and client communication.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update content across various platforms for multiple brands
- Produce creative visual content for social media platforms
- Conduct industry-related research for content accuracy and relevance
- Collaborate with team members to develop content strategies
- Manage day-to-day activities on social media accounts
- Interact with the online community in a professional manner
- Edit and proofread content and marketing materials
- Support in organising marketing, commercial, and education events
- Engage in influencer marketing activities
Requirements:
- Relevant experience or a degree/qualification in Marketing
- Strong digital design skills and a creative mindset
- Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling software
- Experience with website content management systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Competency in marketing software packages such as Canva and Adobe
This is a full-time office based position in Devon, South West. The role offers 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a company pension, along with opportunities to attend national and international events related to the global brands.
