Job Description

Marketing London, England, United Kingdom Full time

Are you looking for the next step in your Marketing career?

Due to our growth and expansion, we're seeking a Marketing Associate to join our London team!

Skimlinks, a Connexity company, is a global e-commerce monetization platform, with offices in LA, London, Germany, and NYC. We work with over 60,000 premium publishers (Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines, Buzzfeed…) and 50,000 retailers around the world, helping content producers get paid commissions for the products and brands they write about.

Our technologies are helping drive the eCommerce boom, and we have a need for a Marketing Associate to help support further growth for our business.

As part of a terrific team of insightful marketers, you’ll report to the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, and have your own ambitious remit to really make your mark on the company.

This is a development opportunity and we’re keen to help the successful Marketing Associate grow as a professional, drawing on the expertise of our team and the chance to get hands-on in key projects across the business.

The Marketing Associate will work to:

Create outstanding sales materials that challenge expectations

Our Commercial Teams are pitching our technology and new products all the time. We need someone that can help deliver attractive marketing collateral for them to work with. The collaterals we create are varied: You might create a timely deck around a key campaign one week, and a 1-Pager outlining key takeaways from a successful webinar the next. These materials help prospective customers decide whether our tools can play a part in developing their business and it is, therefore, vital they’re of the highest quality. There's also the opportunity to expand our horizons in terms of what materials we offer to the team. In addition, the Marketing Associate will help collect and analyze data to inform how we launch marketing campaigns across our key markets.

Inspire our audience and inform our perspective on the world

A company’s blog is its public face to the world, and we have things we want to shout about. It also distinguishes a company from its competitors, enabling customers to better use our products, and deliver qualified leads the commercial team can act upon. The Marketing Associate will create intriguing articles for the company blog, commission pieces from other members of the team, and ensure a regular flow of content. You'll also support work to enhance our existing content, update evergreen articles and help identify ways to grow our content.

Start conversations with our community

We work in the thriving eCommerce industry, and there are conversations we want to be a part of. Leading on community management, you’ll help drive a regular output of content across our LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, ensuring we own our relevant trending topics and develop conversations in our industry.

Day-to-day the Marketing Associate will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead international marketing campaigns around key eCommerce events like Black Friday
  • Start conversations in a vibrant booming industry
  • Experience the full remit of content marketing across copywriting, visual design, storyboarding, storytelling, copyediting & social media marketing
  • Support global communications initiatives, helping input on how we tell our story to customers and the wider market
  • Focus on genuine development, with access to resources and a growing marketing team who can help support your progression

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who wants to grow their career in Marketing:

  • You’ll have 2+ years experience in a Marketing or a Communications role
  • Be an excellent writer and comfortable copyediting
  • A visual eye for how to present information across different formats like presentations, reports and leaflets
  • Be comfortable being driven by KPIs in your day-to-day-work
  • Be ambitious on ownership, keen to take the lead and ask for responsibility
  • In an ideal world have experience in ecommerce or publishing

Voted “Best Places to Work,” our culture is driven by self-starters, team players, and visionaries. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, the company operates sites and business services in the US, UK, and EU. We offer top benefits including Annual Leave Entitlement, paid holidays, competitive comp, team events and more!

  • Healthcare insurance & cash plans
  • Pension

  • Learning & Development Program (educational tool)
  • Wellness Resources
