Your new role


Marketing Campaigns Manager x 1


To deliver high quality long-term, professional marketing communications campaigns to the public and stakeholders, that raise and maintain the profile and reputation of National Highways and build wider understanding of the company’s work. To plan and implement marketing communications campaigns using owned, earned and paid for channels. To manage budgets, oversee campaign research and evaluation, to continuously improve customer awareness and behaviour change metrics. Ensure that the most appropriate marketing mix is developed for each campaign to the highest possible standards and with the best return on investment.


Hybrid role, with main office Birmingham/ Guildford – (40% office based with some travel to London)


 

What you’ll be leading on



  • Develop and deliver high quality professional marketing communications campaigns to the public and stakeholders. This includes campaign planning, campaign business case, writing campaign briefs, managing the development of creative material, coordinating multiple channels (owned, earned and ‘paid for’), liaising with key campaign partners, campaign budget management and campaign evaluation.
  • Procure and manage specialist marketing services via central government frameworks, writing briefs, selecting and managing suppliers, overseeing the delivery of campaign activity.
  • Maintain effective forward planning and develop communications and partnership working with stakeholders, suppliers and other partners, sharing good practice and coordinating activity
  • Provide communications and marketing advice to managers, staff and others, including developing and implementing high quality communication/marketing campaigns.

To be successful you’ll need 



  • Demonstrable experience as a marketing communications professional with a good understanding of the wider communication context.
  • Proven track record of delivering long-term marketing communications relating to behavioural change.
  • Experience running campaigns across multiple digital and social media platforms, ensuring continuously improving metrics.
  • Experience of developing and managing project plans and budget.
  • Marketing communications knowledge and experience, underpinned by relevant professional qualifications or training.
