The CRM team's vision is to operate a world class centre of excellence that supports our regional and local markets in crafting CRM programmes that deliver engaging, personalised client experiences across multichannel touchpoints, leveraging our diverse marketing technology suite.

To support this, we are looking to appoint a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform Lead to own the development and delivery of a future state martech roadmap for IG. The role will set the technology foundations required to power the delivery of data-led, immersive client experience across our communications channels - email, SMS, push. The role will manage the day-to-day relationships with Salesforce, our Salesforce technology partners and Client Technology teams at IG to ensure we're connecting the dots across our tech stacks.

The role will report into the Head of CRM and will work closely with CRM Strategy and Client Technology.

What you will do:

  • Own the product roadmap for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring we have a clear technology path to deliver on our strategy

  • Manage the product backlog and deployment strategy for new features and functionality

  • Work cross-functionally with Client Tech, Data Architecture and Salesforce partners to ensure platform uptime and availability

  • Manage the data governance relating to Marketing Cloud (data quality, integration, and management)

  • Align with CRM Strategy to understand requirements for delivery of automated CRM campaigns and journeys and work with developers to turn these into tech solutions, managing them through from build to delivery

  • Collaborate with Client Technology on supporting the completion of migration of ExactTarget to Marketing Cloud

  • Manage integrations of 3rd party software such as Litmus and Movable Ink into Marketing Cloud

  • Design and manage on-going training on Marketing Cloud for CRM team and end users

  • Understand the regulatory landscape and work with compliance to ensure our technology set-up meets all requirements.

  • As a specialist, you will be playing a big part in educating the wider organisation on the role and importance of marketing technology within group marketing.

Who you are:

You’re upbeat and enthusiastic, and you have an open mind and a curious, can-do attitude. You, like us, understand the importance of collaboration and are driven to be the best in what you do. You embody our three core values – to champion the client, learn fast together and raise the bar. You want to be part of a proudly carbon-neutral company that will prioritise your wellbeing and that of the world around you, helping to create a brighter future for all. A company that embraces diversity and welcomes everyone with respect, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, gender, identification, faith, or culture. If you’re inspired by our way of working and can bring something new to our team of top-notch people, then you’ll find a home here.

  • At least 3 years' experience product managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Demonstrable experience working with cross-functional teams on IT delivery projects
  • Salesforce Certifications - Marketing Cloud Consultant a must.
  • A passion for learning, and for sharing skills and capabilities to enable upskilling across relevant teams
  • Experience of the retail financial environment would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of coding/scripting languages would be an advantage

We’re looking for tenacious, curious, eager, and open-minded people who are comfortable with falling fast to help us maintain our industry leadership. People who embody our three core values – who want to champion the client, lead the way, and love what we do. We recruit based on excellence and believe that diversity is vital to success. We have zero tolerance for bullying, harassment or any other behaviour that stifles innovation and collaboration.

How you’ll grow:

Your personal and professional development are important to us. As a company that’s constantly redefining the boundaries of possibility, we’ll challenge you to push yourself, accelerate your ambitions and rise to new levels of excellence. We know that’s a big ask, so we’ll make sure that you’re supported all the way, getting the backing you need and the recognition you deserve. If you connect with our vision and can get behind it, you’ll be rewarded with countless opportunities to experience new things and enhance your abilities.

The CRM team has been reshaped for future success, and we have opportunities across Group Technology to broaden your skills and gain experience. There'll be opportunities to move into these areas, and others across IG, as you develop. The world of Marketing Technology is ever evolving, and you'll be supported with training opportunities, both on the job and through attending courses and events, to keep up to speed with the latest trends in the industry.

What you’ll get:

As well as having the chance to attend regular social events and join special-interest groups, you get an attractive selection of benefits working with IG:

  • Matched giving for your fundraising activity,

  • Flexible working hours and work-from-home opportunities,

  • Flexible benefits including pension, insurance, and medical plans,

  • Career-focused in-class and online training, incl. LinkedIn Learning,

You'll be based in the London office, but you'll also work with members of the team in Johannesburg, Melbourne, and Bangalore, and will support stakeholders across the globe. We work a hybrid model, spending 2 days a week in the office together, and 3 days remotely.

Join IG, and you’ll be joining the best in an always-moving industry. We’re constantly improving and developing our systems as well as experimenting with new technology. We encourage you to fall fast, learn fast, and succeed together as a team.
