Job Description

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background, who is proactive, highly organised, creative, and passionate about all things content. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. You’ll be able to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels, build relationships quickly and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally, including Head of Digital, Head of Organic and Websites as well as product, PR and commercial teams, to deliver on global and regional requirements and short and long term business goals.

What you’ll do:


Responsibility 1: Lead the creation and distribution of compelling, persuasive content to drive top of funnel awareness and lead generation for new customer acquisition and existing customer revenue for 3 business units within Ant International

- Create, improve and maintain high-quality and high volume of content to achieve our business goals.

- Work with agencies, internal teams to share content to raise brand awareness

- Grow organic traffic and leads by working with website and organic team to agree keyword strategy, monitor web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

- Lead and inspire the development of first-class content across multiple formats (including but not limited to blog posts, webpages, case studies, infographics, video scripts, tutorials, white papers and e-books to ensure optimal delivery of content to target audiences across multiple channels

- Deliver both short form and long form content to deliver SEO optimized content, organic traffic growth and thought leadership in the digital payment solutions and merchant acquiring space

  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams, both internally and via agencies, to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Create and publish engaging content that is compliant with local regulations and internal policies (e.g. copyright and data protection)
  • Edit, proofread and improve writers’ / agency developed content/posts
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure brand consistency across business units and within marketing
  • Optimize content according to SEO best practices/strategies

- Establish and maintain content ways of working to deliver high productivity and quality of all content producers across the content lifecycle - from pitch to production to placement to performance

- Work with the Group brand team to create content style guides, as well as the overall expression of the Ant International and business unit brand guidelines in the content produced

- Manage internal and external meetings including content briefings, define what good/great standard for content, develop a unified vision for all content

Responsibility 2: Support the build and management of a scalable and high-quality content production and amplification engine that delivers top of funnel growth and marketing qualified leads

- Leverage AI driven content tools wherever possible to reduce costs and increase speed to market

- day to day manage of the six-figure content marketing budget to deliver positive ROI and tangible commercial benefit

- Manage the content calendar accuracy, prioritisation and timely delivery

- Implement measurement systems and reports that measure, manage, optimize and report headwinds and tailwinds to Ant International leadership teams, key stakeholders and the wider marketing team. And always be looking for new opportunities and competitive best practices which we can leverage

- Oversee an integrated content strategy that encompasses relevant channels, governance framework, and performance metrics/reporting to align with Ant International and regional market objectives and priorities

- Champion content guidelines and best practices to create high quality customer communications/content for all resources/internal teams

Responsibility 3: Support and enable good working practices

- Live and breathe the Ant International values. Use them to guide and underpin your day-to-day work and demonstrate how you apply these in the way you interact with others

- work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial, HQ, product management/product marketing to ensure buy in and understanding about content plans, objectives, priorities, tactics and campaigns

- Demonstrate positivity, agility and flexibility in your way of working, accommodate others in different time zones and adapt to their needs and working hours/practices when required

- Support ad-hoc and special projects as needed


What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills as well as content creation track record targeting B2B audiences
  • Broad experience across online content marketing channels and a thirst to continue testing and learning
  • Track record of writing your own content as well as managing external marketing and communication agencies to deliver content in line with business requirements
  • Hands on, detailed oriented with a laser focus on time delivery with an outcomes mindset
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Fintech/payments experience highly desired
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Committed to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities
  • Experience working as a team player in a matrix structure and able to work closely with various local, regional and global teams
