About UsEncord is building a comprehensive training data solution for computer vision AI applications. Started by ex-computer scientists, physicists, and quants, we felt first hand how the lack of tools to prepare quality training data was impeding the progress of building practical AI. AI feels to us like what the early days of computing or the internet must have felt like, where the potential of the technology is clear, but the tools and processes surrounding it are terrible. We have devised a unique methodology for automating the tasks related to preparing quality training data, in effect turning the training data problem into a data science problem.
The RoleWe’re looking for someone to create eye catching visual content to elevate the Encord brand. They’ll be expected to work across a range of formats and media (social, print, video, static etc) to create whatever kind of visual asset is needed to support the growth team. You’ll also need to respond to the marketing team’s briefs with your own creative input and ideas. And we’ll also need you to develop the Encord visual brand, ensuring we’re consistent as a company about how we appear to our customers wherever they interact with us.
In return you’ll be involved in one of the most exciting companies in the computer vision space, helping to accelerate our growth. You’ll also have hands-on responsibility for our brand, directly influencing how we appear to our customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Create a wide range of visual assets for the growth team. This will include (but won’t be limited to) animated videos, static graphics, proposal documents, website graphics and product demo videos.
- Take ownership of design projects, communicating with growth team stakeholders about the content being created.
- Managing and prioritising a large volume of requests.
- Provide creative feedback and input into the design requests you’re given, using your expertise to ensure we’re creating the right visual content in the right formats.
- Ensure all of our visual presence reflects our brand and helps convert prospects into customers.
- Help develop and document the Encord brand to ensure consistency.
About You
- 2-3 years’ experience as a graphic designer
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Happy to get stuck in and work with what we’ve got - you don’t need a brand toolkit to start product great assets
- Able to create static illustrations as well as animations and videos
- Comfortable working in a busy environment where you’ll need to be prepared to come up with a solution yourself
- Good attention to detail but still able to take a pragmatic approach to what you’re making (perfection doesn’t exist!)
- You’re super creative and enjoy the challenge of bringing a B2B brand to life
- Happy to tell us where our branding and design needs to change, or where we’ve got something wrong
