About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Marketing Director to cover our marketing activities including strategy, execution and lead generation across the UK and the Netherlands.
As a key member of the wider European team, you will work in close collaboration with our strategic leads across Europe, supporting each other in terms of campaigns, content, PR, Martech, sales enablement, events, and partner relationships.
Your job will be to strategize regionally with the team and execute locally, adapting where needed in close collaboration with our demand generation and account teams.
Please note that this role is focused on function management being responsible for a certain specialist scope with interaction with a wide spectrum of stakeholders. However, the role will not entail management of individual team members.
More specifically, you will:
be responsible for setting the regional marketing strategy with a focus on the UK and the Netherlands
collaborate & align with SMEs and vertical leads on specific GTM strategies
keep track of local UK & NL opportunities and determine how and where to support
work closely with various stakeholders: our PR agency and PR lead to secure the right messaging in the markets; our Regional Partner Lead; regional and global colleagues and teams
focus on Account based marketing strategy: planning and execution for focus verticals
determine necessary activities to support defined business objectives across the Region and focus verticals
Who are you?
You are an experienced Marketing Director who is comfortable in taking the lead and making decisions. You are an excellent leader with a proven ability to lead within a matrix organization, including global and regional cross-functional stakeholders.
You have already worked on developing and delivering marketing strategies preferably within digital and therefore have a good understanding of the field, particularly of the Dutch and/or the UK markets.
Aside from your expertise, your experience allows you to see the big picture and keep a central overview of moving parts affecting individual local activities.
You possess the following skills:
high-level of experience in marketing management or similar roles, preferably from an IT/digital consultancy environment or other B2B focused organizations
ability to build robust ABM plans with strong collaboration and influencing skills
basic professional knowledge of the UK and the Dutch markets
experience in executing lead generation campaigns
skillset to analyse data to influence marketing strategy and initiatives in order to drive growth
outstanding stakeholder management skills and enjoyment in collaboration
experience in sales & business development
Location and language requirements
For this role, we are open to hear from English speaking candidates who are already based in the UK or the Netherlands and are able to work regularly from one of our offices in: London, Bristol, Manchester, Amersfoort, Amsterdam, Eindhoven or Utrecht. See more details about our offices here:
This position is not open to fully remote work or global relocation possibilities but does offer the opportunity for a hybrid WFH/in-office model for local candidates.
