About the role:

Ink, the world leaders in travel media, are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts as travel continues to rebound.

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive brand awareness, audience growth and client retention. They will play a vital role in shaping how we present ourselves to the world in 2024 and beyond.

The successful candidate will play a key role in.....

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our business objectives and target audience(s), showcasing and celebrating our work, our people and our culture
  • Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content marketing, events, and advertising
  • Collaborate closely with the creative and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective promotion of our content, our channels and our teams
  • Lead the marketing of new product launches and partnerships, ensuring timely planning and execution of suitable go-to-market strategies
  • Manage the marketing budget, track campaign performance, and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights and analytics
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, including website content, email campaigns, social media assets, and promotional collateral
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviour to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Oversee award entries for the business, ensuring we are recognised on the global stage
  • Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies within the group and external partners to maximise the reach of our campaigns and support one another with smart marketing initiatives

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing efforts for a dynamic media company celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and remaining at the forefront of the industry. We would love to hear from someone with:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably in the media industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable results
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing practices, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively to diverse audiences
  • Creativity and innovative thinking, with a passion for staying ahead of marketing trends
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and analytics platforms
  • Passion for travel - someone who loves travel as much as we do! (non negotiable)
