Trethowans, one of The Times Best Law Firms 2022 was named as one of the UK’s fastest growing independent law firms (The Lawyer) and offers a comprehensive range of services for businesses and individual clients. It has more than 250 members of staff, including over 80 lawyers and 45 partners, who act for many international and national household brand names (including Jewson, Ladbrokes, Pizza Hut and Nandos to name a few) and a variety of individual clients throughout the UK. Trethowans now operates out of six locations, with offices in Salisbury, Southampton, Poole, Bournemouth and Winchester as well as a serviced office in London.
The role
We are looking for a Marketing and Events Executive to join our dynamic team in a busy and varied role. The successful candidate will be involved in a full range of activities across the complete marketing mix. Previous experience of event management and producing podcasts, and/or videography is essential to this role. You will work as part of an energetic and enthusiastic team to deliver successful campaigns across our chosen markets.
As we are focused on attracting the right candidate, the role could be based in our Bournemouth or Southampton offices. However, regular visits to the other offices will be required to build relationships and gain an understanding of the various markets and services.
Candidates should have a full UK driving license, be willing to travel between our five offices when necessary and work outside of normal working hours when required.
What you’ll be doing
About you
You will be a team player with great project management and organisation skills. You will have a CIM qualification or degree in Marketing and proven experience in a similar role. Experience in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential. Candidates must be positive and proactive in their approach, with good communication skills.
