About the team

The Fashion, Sports & Home Trade Marketing team is a dynamic group in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working alongside a collaborative and agile team to bring innovative ideas to life; seeking new ways to improve the customer journey, reacting to trade, supporting performance, and building onsite plans to launch events and campaigns. You'll act as a bridge between category, marketing, and other departments, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration across the business.

About the role

We have two Marketing Executive roles available within the team.

- One with focus on our Fashion, Sports & Home trade marketing activities

- One with focus on working with strategic brand partners on branded campaigns

Both roles report into the Trade Marketing Lead and working closely with the category team and cross category teams including: - content, creative, onsite merch and CRM, this role is crucial in supporting the planning and delivery of all key activities across all touch points

  • Championing the customer journey ensuring that events and campaigns are executed in a simple way and aligned to the customer mindset. Always striving to make continuous improvements
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity, making recommendations of ways to improve activity and onsite execution
  • Supporting the trade marketing lead with all events & campaign plans, ensuring all planned activity is then executed across all relevant touch points accurately and delivered on time
  • Maintaining and updating all relevant live documents used cross functionally to effectively plan and execute activity
  • Partnering internally with key functions to contribute to the definition of priorities and ensure all activity is communicated clearly and delivered to the brief
  • Ongoing reporting of digital performance using google analytics, content square and Power BI

About you

You will have a natural ability to think creatively and manage stakeholder relationships – the confidence to question and work within a fast-paced function is essential.

  • Being creative, passionate, and innovative about improving the onsite customer experience and ensuring a world class end to end customer journey
  • Able to take ownership of decisions and messaging, both internally and externally
  • Skilled in storytelling, utilising both analytical and creative means to boost campaign success
  • A clear understanding of online customer journeys, including conversion optimisation techniques and the ability to leverage data analytics to measure success
  • Passionate and energetic with a real desire to continuously improve processes and ways of working
