Our client is a well-established, family-run engineering company with a proud history spanning nearly 80 years. With multiple locations across the North East of England, they have a proven track record of success and are committed to growth and innovation.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Marketing Executive to join the team in their Hull office, with responsibilities extending across the entire company.

Role Overview:

The Sales and Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's brand, helping to drive sales, and expanding market presence. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this role is integral to their sales team and involves the following key responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Marketing Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement marketing strategies that elevate the company profile and drive sales growth.
  2. Marketing Material Design: Create and execute marketing plans and materials tailored to specific products and services.
  3. Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent branding across all company platforms, including our website, social media channels, uniforms, vehicles, and branch signage.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports to the management team.
  6. Website and CRM Management: Oversee the management of the company website and CRM system to optimise customer engagement.
  7. Quotation Management: Generate sales quotations and maintain the company’s quote log to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  1. A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or prior experience in a sales and marketing role, is essential.
  2. A proactive and results-driven attitude, coupled with a strong desire to succeed.
  3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a customer-facing environment.
