The Role

The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the marketing strategy during this period of growth.


Key responsibilities include overseeing and managing the marketing delivery for a portfolio of large scale, unique venues. They will work with internal and external stakeholders to create and develop exciting propositions that captivate our clients and customers to drive engagement and maximum participation through our outlets. A passion for food and hospitality will shine through in the work they deliver.


Championing the use of insights, data, and feedback to create highly commercial and customer-centric propositions is essential. The role also involves managing a substantial annual budget with full accountability for performance against both immediate and long-term objectives.


Regular collaboration with digital experts, external agencies, and the sales teams is also a crucial aspect of this role. Creating exciting and compelling consumer propositions for major client opportunities, supporting both business development and retention, is a key focus.


The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Drive and deliver the marketing calendar for the clients working with Senior Marketing Manager, design, procurement, operations and food development to deliver effective campaigns that drive spend, engagement and participation reporting ROI to track and measure campaign delivery.
  • Advise and support the on-site team appropriate content for a variety of clients online channels website, social media and newsletters
  • Create marketing training to set standards and support operations in delivering marketing, merchandising and promotional standards
  • Manage & collaborate with internal and external design teams and agencies to produce effective marketing point of sale collateral, signage and supporting documents.
  • Develop Marketing standards tools, to support Operations with necessary tools to effectively implement and operate internal propositions to the agreed standards
  • Contract mobilisations support operations in mobilising contracts in all aspects of marketing and promotion.
  • Support Sales with commercial case studies on propositions, promotions, new installations, food concepts and other customer facing activity to include in bids and sales presentations.
  • Digital & Social Media – support on maintenance and development of the brand’s website and social media and to drive innovative, informative & engaging traffic through appropriate social media channels.


Skills

  • 3+ years' experience in similar role.
  • Understanding of the marketing mix and its application in a food service environment
  • Collaborative and able to be hands on depending on the project
  • Must enjoy problem solving and challenges.
  • Identify as appropriate when to delegate work to specialists.
  • Confidence in delivering projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Strong creative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be able to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
