Role: Marketing Manager (Maternity cover)

Location: The Haberdashers School, Elstree, Hertfordshire

Overview

Join our Marketing team at The Haberdashers' Schools in Elstree as a Marketing Manager. We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Marketing professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. As an integral part of our Marketing Team, you will support and develop the Marketing Officer and Graphic Designer and work alongside the Digital Project Manager and PR and Communications Manager.

You will manage a plan of activities for all marketing channels including social media, website and print and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered on budget and on brief.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • A Marketing or business degree, CIM or IDM qualification would be desirable.
  • 7+ years relevant experience in marketing and or branding.
  • Proven experience of development and implementation of new ideas and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills in branding and marketing.
  • A practical understanding of visual communications, social media, and the digital landscape, and how to incorporate these channels into the overall plan .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

  • Proactive and hardworking – able to drive, lead, and implement the marketing and brand strategy for a large organisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Confident engaging with staff, suppliers and representing the School.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and communication.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and under pressure.
