Position Overview:
Gunn & Moore Cricket is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the sports industry, with a passion for cricket and a track record of executing successful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement and execute Marketing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Gunn & Moore Cricket's brand, products, and services across various channels including digital, social media, print, events, and sponsorships.
· Product Marketing: Collaborate with product development teams to plan and execute product launches, create compelling product messaging, and develop marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
· Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising to increase brand visibility, website traffic, and online engagement.
· Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
· Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as product launches, trade shows, and sponsorships to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
· Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams such as product development, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment of marketing activities with overall business objectives and customer needs.
· Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and optimize future campaigns.
The Candidate:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the sports industry.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, tools, and analytics.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
· Passion for cricket and a deep understanding of the cricket market and its dynamics.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proven track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns and achieving measurable results.
