Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join the Scripted Content Marketing team. This newly formed team designs and delivers campaigns for the BBC’s drama, comedy and continuing drama brands. The successful post holder will be responsible for leading a team that brings in audiences to the BBC who otherwise don’t have a valued daily habit with the organisation, encouraging them to watch the shows on iPlayer.

This is a permanent role based at New Broadcasting House in London with some flexibility - ie hybrid working.

Role Responsibility

As a Marketing Manager reporting into the Head of Marketing for Scripted Content, this role directly line manages two Marketing Executives. Given the breadth of the slate, you will also be task managing other Marketing Executives and Marketing Co-ordinators across the business who work on Drama and Comedy campaigns. You will be responsible for building excellent working relationships with our internal commissioners, as well as external producers, writers and directors.

Are you the right candidate?

The ideal candidate will have managed high-profile, multi-media content and brand campaigns for a major broadcaster or platform and will have gained experience in managing cross-functional teams within matrix organisations. They will be passionate about creating results-driven marketing campaigns and demonstrate a genuine passion for our content.

We are looking for someone who can bring energy, precision and creativity to a team responsible for launching some of the highest profile drama and comedy series in the world.
