TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS business on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 4,000 transfers, and we are proud that today over 700 clubs from 60+ countries and 100+ leagues are currently using the platform.
Brief intro to the role:
TransferRoom is looking for a Marketing Operations Managerto join us on our mission to change the football transfer market for the better. This role will be our single-threaded leader for managing our CRM system (HubSpot used today), leading our MarTech strategy and building our marketing automation roadmap. This will be a 50/50 role between strategy and execution - you will own our scalable processes and build long-term marketing automation infrastructure, while willing to “get your hands dirty” in building automation campaigns and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
There will be four pillars of responsibility:
i) CRM leadership: Owning and evolving the system architecture according to the long-term vision at TransferRoom, considering different CRM needs for Clubs, Agents, Players and Coaches.
ii) Integrations: Evaluating and executing existing/new integrations e.g. WhatsApp.
iii) Data pipelines: Working with our Data team to build always-on data flows in the right format for growth marketing. Evolving our data structures to establish a “lifecycle machine”, managing inclusion/exclusion rules to drive automated nurture though the customer lifecycle.
iv) Data governance: Ensuring we have best-in-class data hygiene, building an automated database for both Acquisition and Retention, enabling accurate contact data across the right customer roles.
