Marketing Operations SpecialistJob Description*OVERVIEW *  STR was acquired in October 2019 as a division of CoStar Group, Inc., the leading provider of commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces. STR is in the process of combining CoStar’s largest and most up-to-date properties database with STR’s global hospitality performance data, to give both real estate and hospitality customers a unique and powerful combined view of their local markets. *Main Purpose of Job * STR is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist in our London office who will be dedicated to the continued growth of the company’s product and brand through result-driven projects and campaigns. The ideal candidate is an innovative and passionate marketer who seeks opportunities to impact success strategically and operationally. Results driven, this Marketing Operations Specialist will thrive in ambiguous situations and has a knack for rallying the team and cohesively organizing projects. Successful candidates will be able to think at a granular level and execute rapidly. Project management experience is a must for this role.  This person will serve as a trusted marketing advisor to his/her/their business leaders and key stakeholders. Due to this role's nature, it will require the candidate to be excellent at communicating the needs of both parties to deliver superior results.  This candidate will work closely with team members based in a variety of locations around the world to ensure project needs are being met and best-in-class service is provided.  This position will report to STR’s Senior Director of Marketing based in North America.  Responsibilities: * Manage project requests, including but not limited to, meeting with requestors, establishing timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and removing roadblocks * Interpret goals/needs of internal clients and effectively communicate potential solutions * Lead brainstorms and team discussions to develop strong campaign ideas and push to execute the best project work * Oversee international marketing and translation budget to ensure expenses stay within budget * Assist with event planning tasks such as booth displays, conference setup needs, event invitations, and webinar execution * Ensure leadership is well-informed about upcoming requests and ongoing projects  * Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business goals/challenges/opportunities and incorporate in a robust project roadmap * Work with Marketing Operations team to ensure campaigns and marketing assets are ready and rolled out to meet objectives * Partner with digital, content, design and marketing strategist to execute solutions. * Influence the execution of solutions through stakeholder alignment, communications and reporting. * Proactively identify challenges and surface solutions for stakeholders * Primary contact for the EMEA and APAC teams * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Demonstrable, in-depth in-house marketing and/or agency experience required * Proven track record of building multi-channel marketing campaigns * Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes * Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative.  This is incredibly important since manager is based in North America.  * An openness to receiving constructive feedback and an eagerness to apply it to continuously grow and improve * Experienced project manager and familiarity with project management tools (i.e., Adobe Workfront, Wrike, Monday) * Understands the role of research in problem solving, tactical solutions, and creative execution. * Portfolio of successfully executed projects. * Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications, proven numeracy and literacy skills.  * Flexibility to meet outside of normal business hours one to two times a month to accommodate international team members  Preferred Qualifications: * Experience managing a complex budget * Knowledge of systems such as Eventbrite, Survey Monkey, social media platforms, CMS platforms, Pardot, Google Analytics and/or other marketing tools will be beneficial. * Experience within the hospitality industry is desirable but not essential.  * Experience working with translation companies * Able to manage a variety of projects to meet a high standard within tight deadlines across multiple time zones. Efficient and effective forward planner of work and projects. * Able to create solutions to solve problems and is not afraid to make informed decisions. * Ability to focus on the customer, both internal and external, at all times.
