Collaborating with Senior Strategists, you'll ensure that marketing strategies are insight-led, differentiating, and aligned with clients' business needs. This role demands a strategic thinker and marketer who can lead the team in delivering highly effective integrated cross-channel campaigns.Responsibilities:Create Excitement Around Strategy: Develop an atmosphere and culture that promotes excitement and opportunities around strategy.Credible Marketing Strategies: Support and create credible, need-based marketing strategies, contributing to the strategic vision for clients.Research and Insights: Develop and deliver research and insights capabilities within the agency, staying focused on industry trends and developments.Challenge Conventional Thinking: Use trends and insights to challenge conventional thinking, framing opportunities for the business.Strategy Development: Write and deliver marketing strategies internally and externally, ensuring alignment with business needs.Execution Oversight: Oversee and support the execution and optimisation of plans to ensure the realisation of the strategy.New Business Development: Play a role in new business and pitch development, showcasing the agency's strategic prowess.Client Partners Support: Support client partners in representing the companies strategic voice in client meetings.Daily Strategy Challenge: Challenge strategy within the business daily, encouraging a continuous focus on strategic thinking.Service Line Evolution: Support the evolution and implementation of our strategy service line, introducing new capabilities over time.Customer Journey Mapping: Collaborate with the Customer Experience team on creating Customer Journey Maps, ensuring a brand-focused lens for better understanding barriers to purchase.Required Skills:Questioning and understanding a client's business plan across various markets and sectors.Broad understanding of marketing disciplines.Ability to devise marketing strategies collaboratively with clients.Review and critique strategies across digital, offline, brand, and customer experience.Understanding of brand strategy, including market assessment, consumer understanding, opportunity identification, positioning, brand identity, and differentiation.Ability to write simple yet inspiring briefs for creative work and marketing campaigns.Data interrogation and utilisation for opportunity identification, position defence, persuasion, proof, and measurement of communications effectiveness.Building strong and collaborative relationships with agency and client partners.Engaging storytelling and presentation skills.Experience in commissioning and shaping research requirements, interpreting results, and delivering actionable recommendations.Ability to close deals and inspire clients to commit to their needs.Proffered Experience:Writing and delivering creative and robust marketing strategies.Strong personal brand within the industry, potentially including thought leadership, conference speaking, or strategy-focused R&D projects/tools.Consistent recognition within the company's monthly MVP program for work, initiative, and a positive attitude.Experience with enterprise marketing tools.Expertise across Google’s key tools: GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager & Data Studio.Interest and structured training for marketing insights and strategy creation.Typical Week Responsibilities:50% - Hands-on strategy writing and reviewing for existing clients.20% - Client strategy reviews and new business audits/pitches.20% - Training, mentoring, and R&D initiatives.10% - Client insight projects to support upsell opportunities.Benefits:30 days annual leave.Yearly loyalty bonus.Individual performance bonuses.£1000 conference and training budget every year.Life assurance and critical illness cover.Everyday healthcare cover.Enhanced sick pay.Hybrid working.Volunteering leave and salary sacrifice for extra holiday.Regular social events.Gym membership
