Are you a veterinary nurse looking for something slightly different? We have an amazing opportunity for nurses that want to join us in delivering on our purpose: A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS. In this role, you will deliver and support the provision of veterinary care to our pet population at Mars Waltham Pet Science Institute; a global research and development site for Mars Petcare. Our research spans multiple disciplines such as nutrient requirements for pets, the dog and cat microbiome, biomarkers of health and disease, and feeding behavior. The institute is located 5 miles from Melton Mowbray, and driving distance from Derby, Nottingham, Oakham, Grantham and Leicester. There is parking on site. Our veterinary care program ensures we have a healthy pet population that can participate in research trials. Based on one or more of our animal units, you will be part of the operational team, as well as working in collaboration with the veterinary services team. You will also have the opportunity to focus on your development, alongside being an important part of the team that provides high quality veterinary care to our pets. *What would be your key responsibilities?** Deliver routine and non-routine veterinary care for one or more animal unit.
