The Role: As a Maths Teacher you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons to students with SEN, catering to their individual learning needs and abilities. Working collaboratively with our experienced team of educators and support staff, you will inspire and motivate students to develop their mathematical skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and inclusive maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to make maths accessible and enjoyable for all students.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with SEN.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and partnerships.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in a maths teaching capacity, is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and meeting the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
