Job description Maths teacherCreweSeptember 2024 to Easter 2025, possibly longerA dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work in a popular secondary school in Crewe from September until Easter 2025.This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers.You will be required to become fully involved within the department & across the school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:Location – CrewePosition Maths Teacher (KS3/4),Type of work TeachingStart date 9th September 2024Likely Duration 2 termsContract type TemporaryFull timeMinimum rate of pay from GBP160 per dayHours 8:15am – 4pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, , QTS, etc) in MathsPrevious experience working with young people (which we can reference)Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)Up to date FGM training (essential, again, we can provide training)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide a minimum of two professional references
