Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Maths lessons to students of various age groups and abilities
- Plan and prepare well-structured lessons in accordance with the curriculum and school policies
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning and student engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and activities
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate a supportive learning environment
- Keep up to date with educational developments and actively seek professional development opportunities
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- Dedication to promoting a positive learning experience for all students
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
