Embark on a pivotal role in the construction of a state-of-the-art Grade 3 cleanroom facility in the greater Stevenage area. This high-profile pharmaceutical assignment demands an experienced Construction Manager with expertise in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) disciplines, ready to join the project team and deliver to exacting standards.


The Opportunity:

As a central figure driving construction, you will ensure stringent safety, time, quality, and commercial targets are met. Setting behavioural standards alongside the project team, you'll make key decisions, oversee subcontractor management, and mentor staff. From design coordination to commissioning and validation, your oversight will span the entire project lifecycle.


Your Leadership:

You will be the linchpin enabling seamless collaboration between construction crews and design teams. With a deep understanding of buildability and regulatory requirements, you'll provide valuable input to optimise designs.


What You'll Need:

  • Proven generalist construction background, with experience on pharmaceutical/cleanroom/data centre/food manufacturing builds
  • Previous leadership as a Construction Manager, with a history of completing projects
  • Proficiency with project management software and data-driven programme monitoring
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with teams, subcontractors, and leadership
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and staff development
