Mechanic UK wide contractor position - Flying SpannersWe are looking for skilled and experienced Mechanic`s to join our team supporting our customer locations around the UK on an ongoing contract basis. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on the customers vehicles in preparation for sale.RequirementsThe main responsibilities for the successful candidates are: Inspecting and repairing vehicles Engine removal and re-fitment of engine to vehicle Experience of working in a workshop on passenger vehicles is required. Perform restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, engine, air conditioning, security features, fuel pump, etc. Using diagnostic equipment. Replacing faulty parts. Mechanic Requirements:· IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle repair or equivalent is essential · Proven work experience as a Mechanic minimum 3 years· Having good manual dexterity.· Being able to follow instructions.· Having good communication skills.· Having excellent knowledge about motor technology.· Being methodical and organised.· Having good concentration.· Being able to work to strict deadlines.· Having strong interest in motor vehicles.· Good communication skills.· Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.· Comprehensive selection of appropriate tooling BenefitsHours of work are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm but may vary depending on the customer requests. Possible weekend overtime with premium rateWorking at various locations around the UKRate is from £22 per hour depending on experience Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
