Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Team Leader to join a successful, bespoke, special purpose machine manufacturer based in North Yorkshire.
Key aspects of the Mechanical Design Team Leader role include;
Skills are likely to have been through developing automation or special purpose machines for the world market, experience of designing CE compliant systems in any of the following; pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer goods or clean energy industries.
Successful Mechanical Design Team Leader will work with senior management team to provide technical risk mitigation plans
Plan projects, schedule and allocate work packets to Mechanical Design Engineers
Provide a high level of commercial awareness to ensure design solutions are delivered in a cost-effective manner & design changes are managed in accordance with standard operation procedures
Able to provide clear technical instruction to Mechanical Design Engineers
Ability to manage priorities for all stakeholders and provide clear reporting
Competent in technical aspects of mechanical design and ideally development of special purpose machinery
Experience of working within a multiskilled environment (i.e. knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components)

The companys premises are commutable from the following locations Leeds, Selby, Wetherby, Harrogate, Ripon, York, Pontefract, Doncaster, Hull / East Yorkshire and Wakefield.
