Urgent Requisition Key Responsibilities Coordinates or/and develops equipment specifications, material requisitions, for rotating /packaged/mechanical equipment Liaise with Engineering Contractors counterparts during the execution of FEED and EPC Projects.
Reviews engineering equipment or work specifications, material requisitions, for rotating /packaged /mechanical equipment by other engineers, or by Engineering Contractors Coordinates the discipline Engineering work with other engineering disciplines, with suppliers, and contractors.
Reviews/evaluates technical bids.
Represents in the technical and commercial negotiations with Vendors and Suppliers Coordinates/ conducts the review of vendor drawings, calculations and other documentation.
Coordinates the closure of the discipline technical actions from model reviews, HAZOP reviews, P&ID reviews, etc.
Skills And Qualifications MEng / BEng or equivalent degree.
Sound experience working for Engineering Companies in medium size FEED and EPC Projects.
Experience working on projects on the operator side is valued Minimum 10 years' work engineering experience in rotating equipment / packaged equipment in industrial plants, utilities, process plants .
Experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry is valued.
Sound knowledge of rotating/packaged (pumps, compressors, chillers, fans, agitators,) and material handling equipment such as belt conveyors, driers, cranes and air exhaust systems.
Conceptual, preliminary, and final design of rotating / packaged equipment.
Equipment calculations knowledge Broad working knowledge of codes and standards ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, ISO, etc.
Experience with field installation / commissioning activities for rotating / packaged equipment is valued.
Experience participating in model reviews and vendor meetings to support project schedule and technical design requirements.
