JWB Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator.
The client is a growing company who manage facilities and projects on commercial sites all over the southeast of England.
You will be based out of the office working alongside contract managers, project managers, commercial gas engineers, plumbers and HVAC engineers to deliver prices for parts andprojects.
There will be travel required to site on occasion to meet with clients and survey properties, the ideal candidate will have a commercial plumbing or commercial gas background with experience of quoting, purchasing and delivering.
The company work with government buildings, nurseries, garages and more.
Duties:
Presenting estimates to new and existing clients.
Evaluating and analysing key commercial aspects essential for a successful bid.
Conducting thorough analysis of competitors and market dynamics to inform bid strategy.
Collaborating closely with gas engineers, plumbers and HVAC engineers on site.
Comparing cost estimates with historical benchmarks and assessing any deviations.
Identifying and quantifying cost uncertainties and associated risks.
Handling costing and pricing of bids.
