- Accurately estimate the cost of mechanical systems for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing
- Track and report on project costs throughout the construction process
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations
- Provide support and guidance to the project team regarding mechanical system costs
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters
- Maintain accurate and organized records of estimates, bids, and project costs
- Continuously improve estimating processes and techniques
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success
