Role: Mechanical Fitter
Rates
Hourly Rate: £21.27
OT1: £29.78
OT2: £38.29
Hourly Bonus: £2.37
You will also get a lodge Stipend of £337.12 pw.
Hours: 44hrs with last 6hrs paid at OT1. Monday to Friday. Overtime fluctuates throughout the project/year
Hours/Shifts: 44hrs a week - overtime fluctuates but will include weekends
Work Type: Contract PAYE
Job Specification:
- Time Served Mechanical Fitter with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
- Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering standards/procedures is essential
- Ability to follow any relevant instructions, drawings, and any other quality standards/ specifications to be able to complete set tasks
- Experience in installing and mounting equipment, e.g., pumps, motors and rafts are essential
- Experience in installing mechanical joints is essential
- Experience in testing systems would be advantageous e.g., Pneumatic and Hydrostatic
- Experience in shield doors or mechanical handling equipment.
- CSCS card and experience of working on-site in a heavily regulated environment.
- Extremely desirable if you are multi-skilled: E.g. have lifting or MEWP.
