Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Gloucester
Pay Range/details: £35,787 + 38.50% night shift uplift + £2K increase after passing CA Stamp
Contract Type: Permanent Full-time

My client is a world leading Aerospace OEM company, and they are looking for Mechanical Fitters to assemble and testing nose and forestay assemblies, main gears, and side stays, all while maintaining a high standard of quality for each component, along with FOD compliance.
Please note: shift pattern
Dayshift: Monday to Thursday – 7.30am to 4.00pm
Friday – 7.30am to 12.30pm
Nightshift Monday to Wednesday – 9.45pm to 7.30am
Thursday – 9.45pm to 6.50am
Premium Payment – 38.50% of salary -
As a Mechanical Engineer or Assembler Fitter you will need fitting experience in a previous role ideally in aerospace or automotive Ideally with:
- A completed NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, or equivalent
- The ability to follow technical drawings, specs, procedures, and test instructions.
- A desire to learn and understand the basic principles of production flow lines, and takt times.
- Knowledge of COSHH and flow line methodologies is ideal, but not essential for you to apply.
