Medical Director, EU, Oncology

Blackfield Associates are currently partnering with a Mid-Sized Pharmaceutical Organization in the search for a Medical Director for Europe to work across their Oncology Portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the EU medical affairs strategies in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders including the Global medical affairs team.
• Work closely with the European affiliates to ensure effective local implementation of the medical strategy
• Medical Affairs Budget management.
• Build and maintain a professional network with relevant members of medical/scientific community, pharmaceutical organizations, patient associations and other applicable institutions.

Position Requirements:

• Medical Degree OR Pharmacist OR PhD
• Strong background and knowledge of Oncology and/or Rare Diseases
• Significant relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Multi-country Medical Affairs experience
• Experience in people management
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
