We are looking for an experiencedMedical Writer to join the Clinical Team at MedShr – the world’s leading clinical case discussion platform. This is an ideal role for someone looking to progress their Medical Writing Career, with the potential to develop further into a Senior Medical Writer or a Medical Strategist role.

Role profile
MedShr is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Writer to join our Clinical Team.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Deliver scientific content, such as scientific posts (review of clinical data and guidelines), clinical case scenarios, learning modules and to a high standard for key healthcare accounts
  • Write clear and succinct educational needs assessments that provide evidence for identified clinical practice gaps, that follow recognized standards, and are supported by internal and external data
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of therapy areas relevant to specific accounts, including product data and educational messaging, terminology and competitor awareness
  • Support the curation and management of clinical case content
  • Contribute in client meetings as the scientific representative of MedShr

Successful candidates will have

  • A Masters-level life sciences degree (preferably a PhD)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years as a medical writer working environment in the pharmaceutical, commercial or digital industry
  • Ability to write clear and concise, scientifically accurate copy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Happy to work across a wide range of therapy areas
  • Able to understand and balance clinical and commercial context as appropriate
  • Be proactive and flexible, ready to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Be self-motivated and driven to constantly improve and optimize content and engagement strategy
  • Be organized and capable of effectively prioritizing workload
  • Demonstrate critical thinking needed to create content and manage a diverse range of responsibilities with accuracy and creativity

Key skills

  • Experience with medical content creation and education highly desirable
  • A clear concise communicator at all levels who develops trust easily, and both internally and externally to the organisation
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Critical thinking


Work Pattern
Full-time (40hrs/week) or Part-time hours also considered

Compensation
Full-Time salary up to £43,000 (dependant on experience)

Benefits

Flexible
MedShr operate a core hours policy between 9.30am and 4.30pm
This isa hybrid role, where you would be able to tailor your in-office presence, choosing between 1 -3 days a week. However, if necessary we'd be happy to consider afully remote work arrangement with occasional visits to our office.

Base holiday
25 days base holiday, plus UK bank holidays

Pension employer contribution
MedShr will contribute a generous 5% to your pension
