Venture-People offer outreach support and housing solutions to individuals with a mental health need, maximising their independence with the right support at the right time. We work in a person-centred and recovery focused approach, steeped in therapeutic optimism.
We are looking for Support Workers who will make up a growing team.
Your role will be delivering quality support that enables people to achieve their outcomes by using and developing person-centred support plans. You will be able to manage risks and vulnerabilities whilst promoting social inclusion and maximising the opportunities for the people you support.
This role would suit candidates with experience, or an enthusiasm to gain skills in social care, mental health, as a Support Worker, Care Worker, or Care Assistant.

Additional Information
On a full-time contract your working pattern would be Monday - Friday 09.00-17.30 with a weekend rotation 45 hour per week contracts are available.
Essential Skills
You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working within the mental health sector.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A willingness to go the extra mile.
You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative.
Desirable Skills
It would be desirable for you to have had experience of supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition and within a community-based services.
