VCare24 Ltd Mental Health Support Worker (Secure Transport)
TheMental Health Support Worker (Secure Transport)role is to provide a safe and secure transport service for vulnerable adults and children in a dignified manner. We offer a bespoke service to our clients to meet each individuals requirements, while maintaining a fast and effective response time.
Our vehicles are maintained to the highest of standards by main dealer garages having regular services. All vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking devices for staff and client safety. All vehicles are fitted with privacy glass for client safety and dignity. All have fire extinguishers, first aid kits as standard plus blankets and pillows for clients comfort. VCare24 Ltd is committed to providing a person-centred service in a secure environment. Operating secure patient transport and support services, working alongside the NHS and Private Health sectors, local authorities and national Police service. We are committed to fully supporting the needs of Vulnerable Adults, Adolescents and Children.
All staff will be offered a 40 hour per week contract,
All staff will be given a 5-day shift pattern (during which time the staff will be expected to be on call 24hours a day during these 5 days and expected to be no more than 60minutes from the office base or a designated meeting point within York),
Any overtime will be paid additionally,
All staff are required to attend a full in depth 7-day induction training regime. Where both practical and theoretical work is completed in this time.
All staff must be over the age of 21 (for insurance purposes),
All staff must hold a full driving licence,
A full DBS will be completed,

Ideally have previous experience working in Mental Health,
Have good communication skills,
