Personal or voluntary experience within SEN or mental health would be desirable but not essential. * Social, Emotional and Mental Health as well as Special Education Needs and Complex Needs.Mental Health Teaching Assistant – Watford Specialist ProvisionThe Role: * SEN Mental Health Teaching Assistant * Social and Emotional Mental Health Support * June/ September * Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4:30 * Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates looking to build experience in Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy.The SEN children in this school require a Learning Support Assistant who understands their complex needs and is open-minded and up for a challenge. The children have varying needs although SEMH is the main provision. Suitable experience can include working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting, even on a personal level such as with family.
