We're looking for developers to join us at our new office in Solihull, developing web sites and apps for big clients like Macmillan and Greenpeace. We have a great mix of client work to engage you from visually led design based projects and heavier apps that run entire companies. We also have internal products that we're building toward releasing commercially and some open-source.
About Job:
We have a really great set of ethics we work to at Blanc. The workload is varied, with an internal projects day each week, and 1 in every 10 projects is done for free for a good cause. We have a solid focus on making sure everyone has a good work-life balance, and make sure we're investing in your future with time for conferences and planning for your pension as part our initial conversation.
We're looking for people that can take a brief from a designer, and build a Django app to fulfill that brief.
Particularly the skills we're looking for are:
- Python & Django
- git
- HTML, CSS & JavaScript
We're keen on:
- PEP8 (without the line character limit)
- Having fun in the office
- Semantically marked up HTML
- Unobtrusive JavaScript
- Developer-focused working environment
