Midday Meals Supervisor / Play Leader - Victoria Drive Primary Pupil Referral Unit

The Role

7 hours 25 minutes hours per week- Monday to Friday 11:45am-1:30pm

Required to start as soon as possible

Victoria Drive Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) works with all Wandsworth primary schools to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The PRU works with primary aged pupils on the roll of Wandsworth Council maintained schools, who are experiencing Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMD) and/or Learning Difficulties. It also offers full time education to any pupil who is a Wandsworth resident and has been permanently excluded from their primary school.

Victoria Drive PRU values a multidisciplinary approach and has a CAMHS team, play therapists, sports mentor, learning mentor, attendance mentor and a social worker.

  • Good interpersonal skills, a sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a hard-working, enthusiastic and committed team
  • To be committed to your own professional development and keen to make a significant contribution to the life of our school.
  • Previous experience of working with children in a primary school would be desirable but not essential
