Ntrinsic Consulting are looking for a Middleware Administrator for one of the largest Utility companies in the world.
The role:
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's critical middleware infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication between our applications and systems.
You will be the gatekeeper of our company's critical middleware infrastructure, responsible for ensuring uninterrupted communication between our systems and applications.
Day to day responsibilities:
Collaborating with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to design and implement middleware solutions that meet our evolving business needs
Proactively monitoring our middleware environment to detect and resolve issues before they impact our business operations.
Staying up-to-date with the latest middleware trends and technologies, continuously expanding your skill set to enhance your value to the team.
Skills required:
Familiarity with operating systems, virtualization technologies, and database systems commonly used in enterprise environments.
Experience with automation and scripting tools, such as Shell, Perl, and Python, to optimize middleware administration tasks.
Understanding of middleware technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and SSL/TLS.
Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
