Mobile Developer
Location: Birmingham
BENEFITS - Up to £60,000 per annum, flexible working options including full time remote, pension 25 days holiday plus birthday and bank holidays, rising with service, life insurance.
We are looking for a Mobile developer with a strong background in mobile applications and experience in C++, Swift/ Objective C on the IOS/ IpadOS, platforms, and/ or Java / Kotlin on the Android platform.
As a senior software engineer, you will:
Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS/ iPadOS and Android platforms using C++, Swift/Objective C, Java/Kotlin, React Native, and Android JNI.
Have strong knowledge of React Native
Be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from design and prototype through development, testing, and deployment.
Have experience with C++ and cross platform compilation using GCC/ clang and Conan
Have knowledge of CMake and Gradle.
Have experience with building both dedicated apps and standalone SDKs for use by third parties.
Collaborate with cross-functional team, design and implement new features, and ensure the quality of the application.
Have experience with automated testing best practices, and Continuous Integration/Delivery. Deliver to rapid timescales in a dynamic agile environment.
Experience in React Native and Android JNI is highly desirable.
Able to use RESTful web APIs and networking libraries to integrate within applications.
Nice to have skills:
Unix/Linux systems: Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems, including scripting skills
Experience with Java Native Interface (JNI)
Cross-compiling: Experience with cross-compiling for different architectures Experience with CMake
Conan: Experience with Conan
