There’s a permanent opportunity for you here as a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join our Contract based in North London & Hertfordshire within our healthcare sector.
This is a great role for anyone with either commercial fabric experience or someone with carpentry skills looking for a full-time role within a friendly engineering team.
The Role
- Travelling to commercial settings throughout the Hertford & London area
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
- Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
- Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
- Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
- Maintaining site based records and log books
- Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
- Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
- Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
- Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email
- [Attending emergency call-out requests in accordance with the local on-call rota]
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week

Career Progression Route
- From this role you could progress into a Supervisor position if desired
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer facing environment would be ideal. Experience working with on Fire doors would be highly desired.
