Equans is looking for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Kings Yard, Queen Elizabeth Park, London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.We are looking for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter who will be responsible for the technical performance and maintaining Equans and industry standards within the London MOPAC contract, providing guidance to others on site and technical expertise in plumbing systems and building fabric components.This is a highly valued partnership between Equans and MOPAC (The Mayor's Office for Policing And Crime). Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance to all building services, heating and Ventilation, hot & cold-water mechanical systemsInstall, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structuresMaintain accurate records of all preventative maintenance and repair work carried out and report any substandard or defective equipmentPerform scheduled maintenance service on building services systems and boiler systems and fixturesEnsure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes & environmental standardsEscort specialist contractors and work beside them as requiredUndertake duties, as required, that contribute to the effective operation of the MOPAC Contract What can we offer you? Must have served a recognized apprenticeship and obtained Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in EngineeringGas Safe RegistrationCompleted ACOP L8 in Legionella awarenessAbility to perform tasks alone or in a team to a high standard without constant supervisionComputer Literate in Microsoft office including Excel, WordExperience of working within Facilities ManagementClean Driving licence and able to drive company vehiclesExperience dealing with customers and suppliers Who are we?
