Job description summary: We are seeking for a skilled and passionate Chef to lead our small team at The Morston Anchor. As a our pub chef, you will be responsible for overseeing of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation. You will be working closely with the area GM to uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, maintaining inventory levels and contribute to menu development. Key responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes whilst delivering high standard menu staples. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain clean and organised work environment. Adapt to changing customer demands and specific dietary requirements. Consistently deliver exceptional food and service. Knowledge and skills with frying units and quality fish Experience as a Pub Chef or a similar role in a hotel or dining establishment. Knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients and kitchen equipment. Ability to work under pressure. Attention to details. Flexible to work evenings, weekend and holidays as required.
