What actions & challenges await?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Location Intelligence team within in the Retail and CPG sectors.

Our team enable some of the largest global brands to spend less and sell more, by ensuring they

invest the right resources in the right locations at the right time. Whether this is through value driven

software solutions or professional consultancy services that deliver measurable change anywhere in

the world. Our clients are household names and include the likes of Unilever, Philip Morris, Nestle,

Mondelez, AB InBev and many more. These engagements often extend beyond the brands to support

the retailers too, by understanding which consumers purchase which products, and working

collaboratively with brands to personalise their offering instore to meet the needs of the consumers.

Our retail clients include The Kingfisher Group (B&Q), SPAR, and M&S to name just a few.

The main role will consist of nurturing our clients, cementing our relationships, while delivering strategic recommendations to further deliver solutions that add value at every step. You will be supported to write winning proposals, the ability to have a voice to influence and shape our propositions and how we approach our work and to support our client’s needs. Here are some of things you’ll be achieving in your role :

Here are some of the specific challenges we help our clients solve:

  • How do I deliver an effective route to market sales strategy, and what role does each sales channel play in this?
  • How do we use data to continuously review, learn and optimise our actions to deliver bottom line growth through sales uplift and cost-savings?
  • Which stores have the greatest sales uplift opportunity for my products?
  • What marketing and field actions deliver the greatest results to the business, and how can I do more of them?
  • Which customers/retailers offer a return on investment from a physical visit, and which would merit a virtual visit?
  • What is the optimal size and structure for each of my sale channels to ensure sales growth?
  • How do I reduce the cost of my field teams?
  • How do we assign visits to field reps to maximise daily call rates and minimise mileage?
  • How do I deliver a personalised experience to customers/retailers to maximise long-term, high-potential client relationships and grow sales and profitability?
  • How can we provide excellent in-store execution and focus resource on high-value, high potential stores?
