Multi-Country Buyer – UK and Other European Affiliates


Location & Working Arrangement: Uxbridge, UK - Hybrid (1 day per week in-office)


BioTalent are partnered with a global pharmaceutical company that are dedicated to discovering, developing, and delivering innovative treatments that improve patients' lives, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular disease and oncology. Due to the department growing, our client is looking for a driven and motivated Multi-Country Buyer to support the Procurement team across Europe.


This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional with some procurement experience, eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You'll work closely with teams across Europe, contributing to key procurement projects while receiving hands-on experience in a global company.


Please note that this is a role to cover Indirect Categories and so some experience across the below categories is required, in order to be considered:

  • Logistics & Transportation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders, ensuring smooth procurement operations.
  • Engage in negotiations for spend under €50k, building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance in all procurement processes, collaborating with Finance, Compliance, and Legal teams.
  • Support sourcing activities and help drive improvements in procurement processes.
  • Train and assist teams on procurement policies, contributing to harmonization across affiliates.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Procurement, ideally in Indirect Procurement. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with a dispersed team.
  • Experience with SAP MM, eSourcing, and other Procurement Suites is an advantage.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and grow in a fast-paced, international environment.
